Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you visit WheelOfNames.net (the “Site”), how it is used, who it is shared with, and the choices you have. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the operator of WheelOfNames.net.
1. Scope
This policy applies to all pages and tools on wheelofnames.net, including the name wheel, team and group pickers, number, letter, color and time wheels, dice roller and tournament bracket generator. It does not apply to websites operated by others, including websites with similar names. WheelOfNames.net is an independent website and is not affiliated with wheelofnames.com.
2. Information we collect
2.1 Content you enter into our tools
Names, numbers, team names, lists and other text you enter are processed entirely within your browser to run the tool. This content is not transmitted to or stored on our servers.
2.2 Information stored on your device
Some features save small amounts of data in your browser’s local storage so they keep working on your next visit. This data stays on your device and is not sent to us:

You can delete this data at any time by clearing your browser’s site data for wheelofnames.net.
2.3 Information collected automatically
When you visit the Site, our analytics and advertising providers automatically collect certain information through cookies and similar technologies, which may include:

- browser type, operating system, device type, screen size and language;
- pages viewed, time spent, links clicked, the referring website and general interaction data;

- Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this Site and/or other sites on the Internet.

8. Data retention
- Content you enter is not retained by us; it remains in your browser only while you use the tool.
- Local storage data remains on your device until you clear it.
- Analytics data is retained in Google Analytics for up to 14 months and then deleted automatically.
- Advertising cookies are retained for periods set by each advertising provider, as described in their privacy policies.
- Emails are kept for as long as needed to respond to you and for a reasonable period afterwards.
9. International transfers
Our service providers and advertising partners may process information in the United States and other countries whose data protection laws may differ from those in your country. Where required, such transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
10. Your rights and choices

Because we do not require accounts and do not store the content you enter, we usually hold little or no information that can identify you directly. Most analytics and advertising data is held by the providers named above, and you can manage it through the opt-out tools in Section 6 and your browser settings. 11. Notice to U.S. residents
Residents of California and certain other U.S. states have rights regarding their personal information, including the right to know, delete and correct it, and to opt out of its “sale” or “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not sell personal information for money. However, the use of advertising cookies described in Section 6 may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” under some state laws. You can opt out by using the opt-out tools in Section 6, by enabling a Global Privacy Control signal in your browser where supported, or by contacting us. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
12. Children’s privacy
Our tools are popular with teachers and are often used in classrooms. We do not ask users for personal information, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). Names entered into our tools by a teacher or student stay in the browser and are not sent to us. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
13. Security
The Site is served exclusively over HTTPS, and because we do not operate user accounts or store the content you enter, the amount of personal information we hold is minimal. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
14. Third-party links
The Site may contain links to other websites and advertisements from third parties. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those websites, and we encourage you to read their privacy policies.
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page, and where changes are significant we will provide a more prominent notice on the Site. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
